Tug-of-war

I am being yanked in many different directions.
I want to knit.
I want to draw.
I want to read.
I want to write.
I don't want to flunk school.
I also want to blog, but things are getting in my way.

So to hold you for now:

(Done during a slow day at work, didn't have an eraser, so some things were cleaned up a little when I got home, but I liked and kept the sketchy-ness.)

And also, my cousin lost one of the fingerless gloves I made for her, so hopefully I'll get to go yarn-shopping to make a new pair soon :D

Upsetting news

I think my camera's dead.

The power button somehow got stuck, so I can't turn it on at all.

So pray my dad has a miracle up his sleeve or else I'll be without pictures for a while.

November

Because I like to mess things up :D

NaKniSweMo (National Knit A Sweater Month)
NaFinSweMo (National Finish A Sweater Month)

Mon Cherie: it's getting on my nerves. Because I have been ribbing for a good month, and still have like eight rounds of ribbing to go. I swear it will cast-off by the 30th!!!
Er, I hope.

NaWriNovMo (National Write A Novel Month)
NaWriPlaMo (National Write A Play Month)
School: it does not like me.

So stay tuned for angst, anger, and more angst! And did I mention angst!
:P

My Saturday . . .

was spent, as usual at the museum.

I love my job. I get to let little kids hold dinosaur bones, enjoy art for free, and access secret doors with my ID badge :P
Oh, and eat lunch out here:

(Whoa, check out the trees!)

Aaaaaand some cool white plant-thingys that I have learned are called sea oats:

Hope you had a great weekend :)

IOU

Some art.

And knitting. But there's really not that much to see. Both my WIP's are unchanged, just longer :P

And designing. Hopefully this an area I can satisfy. Because I has a BRILLIANT IDEA for this yarn:

Okay, so a few days ago I was at Target, and guess what knitted item is in vogue this fall?

Fingerless gloves and mitts. The accessory section is stuffed with them.
This pair was around $!2. I CAN MAKE THAT. EASILY!

So? I'm going to design a pair of gloves (fingers included) with my Snowflake yarn. And they will be nicer than $12 fingerless gloves (which I will also probably make some of soon).

Ta ta for now!

Fall is Just Something That Grownups Invented

The approaching holiday of Halloween puts me in kind of a dark mood.
But only because it's hype for the SWEETEST HOLIDAY EVER!!!!

I used the zoom for this one. They were like five of these things, and they were the size of my palm.
*twitches* Ewewewewew

What the—daisies?

And some chocolate-chip banana bread to finish you off!
